With the development of science and technology, many countries are very powerful in recent world. However in some developping country there are groups of terrorism to against government even all over the world. As the 911 issue in America, the terrorism often create some terrible issues. I think these kinds things should be terminated by the struggles from all people in the world. Actually government has made much contribution, such as controlling the guns. Nowadays, due to the complex process, to buy a gun in America is more difficult than before. Government has been paying attention to limit the use of the guns since the 911 issue.
In my opinion, guns should be used for military action and policeman, but not for persons. If someone needs protection, he could call the police.

in my opinion you shuld give us more example about your idea
ReplyDeleteI found in Amnesty International USA page the next information: "The september 11 attacks killed 3000 people. In the two year since more than 60000 Americans have died from firearms". I think governments are far away of giving solution to this problem, not as much as avoid the fall of wall street that seems to be more important than the people's life.
ReplyDeleteIf the federal government forbid Americans to have guns, i think many Americans may protest this policy. A widespread impression of the US is freedom, people have rights to do what they like. Maybe, they can limit the gun trade.

I have to agree with Diana, though; I don't think the process has become that much more difficult for people to buy guns. If you remember the examples in the NOW interview we read, it was very easy, incredibly easy, for the criminals to get the guns they wanted.
Eva also has a good point--I'm not sure there really IS a way to eliminate the sale of guns completely. What other things do you think we, or other countries, could do?

ReplyDeleteI agree with some of you that It's too hard to terminate the guns sale, because it brings lots of profit for government and people have formed the opinion that they have right to buy a gun. So I think the better way to solve the problem of guns control is to limit the number and process of the guns sale. People should buy a gun based on their credit, and the number of guns in every family aslo should be limited. On ther other hand, guns mustn't be delivered out of the country or be given to another one.
Your propose about create limits to get guns is interesting. However, I disagree with you regard to one of the requeriments to get guns is the credit´s people because it means that the wealthy can have more access to guns. On the other hand,I agree with you regard to restrictions and control about internatinal traffic should be strengthened ,and it has to be a result of the countries´ cooperation.
