Body language is used everywhere in the world, and it is a very powerful means of language. It’s impossible to use one single spoken language to communicate all over the world, because people speak different language at different part of the world. However, people could use body language to express themselves. It is a universal way for communication.
I heard a reasonable idiom from a Chinese old man, he said that: a kind-hearted person usually has a pair of clear eyes. Eye contact is a popular method to communicate with others. From the eyes, people could easily understand what you want to express, and how good or bad your mood is. Eye contact is also a good way to get close to others, because it could show your friendly and genuine feeling directly.
We usually say that parents’ love is great and silent; they do everything they could for their children. It’s obvious to express their love by a sweet smile, a warm hug or cooking a delicious meal. Sometimes they give us love without any words, but it is the most unforgettable.
Body language sometime could express what spoken language can’t express. I think it is the most universal language in the world for people to communicate.

ReplyDeleteI agree that body language can be the easiest way to communcate, sometimes especially between people who don't speak the same langauge. Do you see your discussion of body langauge as connected to other things we have been discussing in seminar class?
